Know All Men by these presents that I Arnold S. Naudain of NewCastle County and state of Delaware do hereby Manumit set free and discharge from me my heirs and assigns my negro boy David who I purchased from William Corbet and now about nineteen years of age after serving me my heirs or assigns the full term and time of ten years from the twenty fifth of March last past. And he is hereby authorized and empowered after the end of Sd. term which will be in the year AD eighteen hundred and twenty eight March the twenty fifth to act and transact business as a free Man for himself. Be it remembered that on this twenty fifth day of April A.D. eighteen hundred and eighteen before me the subscriber one of the Justices of the peace in and for said County personally appeared Arnold Naudine Eqr. and acknowledged the within and foregoing Instrument of writing to be his act and deed and desired it might be recorded as such.
