Will Abraham Doris June 3 1825

Be it remembered, that I Abraham Doris of Wilmington do make & declare the following to be my last will & testament

I give & bequeath to Evan Lewis & Samuel Hillis, their heirs Executors & administrators, the sum of one hundred Dollares in trust for the use of the association under the name of the Abolition Society of Delaware to be paid to their Treasurer for the time being, for the use and at the disposal of said Society.

I give & bequeath to my wife Delia, to her, her heirs & assigns for ever, all the remainder of my estate real & Personal

I nominate & appoint my friends William Seal and Benjamin Ferris to be the Executors of this my last will & Testament In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand by a mark and affixed my seal this ninth day of april in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred & twenty one. Signed & sealed, pronounced & declared by the testator to be his last will in the presense of us. Edward Gilpin Allan Thomson

New Castle Co. Before me personally appeared Edwd Gilpin and Allan Thomson the two subscribing Evidences to the within Will, who being duly affirmed did severally say that they saw Abraham Doris the Testator Sign and Seal the within Instrument of writing and heard him publish pronounced and declare the same to be his last Will and Testament. and that at the time of his so doing he was to the best of their belief of sound and disposing mind and memory, that it was at the request of the Testator in his presence and in presence of each other they severally subscribed their names thereto as witnesses In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my Hand at New Castle June 3 1825.
