This Indenture Made the Seventeenth day of April in the Year of our Lord one thou- sand eight hundred and three, Between John Way of of Christiana Hundred and County of NewCastle in the State of Delaware Esquire, and Jane his wife of the one Part and Abraham Doras of the Borough of Wilmington & County of NewCastle in the State of Delaware, Barber, of the other part. Whereas the said John Way by virtue of the Intestate Laws of this state and sundry acts of the orphans Court of and for the County aforesaid became Law fully seized in fee of and in all the Real Estate of Doctor Nicholas Way late of the Borough and County aforesaid dec’d as by the orders and Proceedings of the said Court now remaining on Record Reference thereunto being had may more fully and at large appear. Now this Indenture Witnesseth that the said John Way and Jane his wife for and in Consideration of the sum of one Dollar Current Lawful money of the State aforesaid to them in hand well and truly to be paid by the Said Abraham Doras at or before the sealing and delivery of these presents the Receipt whereof they do hereby acknowledge and confess themselves therewith fully satisfied contented and paid and thereof and from every part thereof do release acquit and forever discharge the said Abraham Doras his heirs and assigns by these presents. Have granted sold aliened, enfeoffed, released and Confirmed and by these presents do grant bargain sell, alien, enfeoff release and Confirm, unto the said Abraham Doras his heirs and assigns a certain lot piece or part of the aforesaid Real Estate of Doctor Nicholas Way being bounded and described as followeth to wit. Beginning at the Intersection of Shipley Street at forty nine feet, and front street at Sixty feet broad, thence with the Easterly side of Shipley Street, south thirty two degrees West ninety three feet to the side of water street, thencewith the same south fifty eight degrees East twenty feet thence north thirty two degrees East ninety three feet to front street thence with the same North fifty eight degrees West twenty Feet to the place of Beginning, Containing one thousand eight hundred and sixty feet of Land be the same more or Less Together with all and singular the Houses buildings gardens fences timber trees ways waters watercourses rights liberties privileges improvements and appurtenances whatsoever thereunto so belonging or in any wise appertaining and the Reversion and Reversions remainder and Remainders Rents issues and profits thereof. And all the Estate Right title Interest property claim and demand of the said John Way & Jane his wife and their heirs of in and to the same of in and to every part thereof To have and to hold all and singular the said Lot or piece of Land as the same is above described with all the Improvements and appurtenances unto the said Abraham Doras his heirs and assigns to the only proper use and behoof of the said Abraham Doras his heirs and assigns forever, And further it is Covenanted by and Between the said parties by these presents that the said John Way and Jane his wife their heirs and assigns all and singular the said Lot or piece of Land and premises with the improvements and appurtenances against them the said John Way and Jane his wife their heirs and against all and every other person or persons, Whomsoever having or Claiming or that shall or may at anytime hereafter lawfully Claim the same or any part thereof by from or under them or any of them unto the said Abraham Doras his heirs and assigns, shall and will Warrant and forever Defend by these presents.
