Know all men by these presents that I Henry B Hill adr of S. Hill decd of Dagsboro Hun Sussex County & State of Delaware for and in Consideration of the sum of twenty five Dollars, paid me by Jacob Tingle, negro, do hereby manumit & set free from slavery A certain black Boy Named George About ten years old now my slave from henceforth to possess and enjoy all the rights liberties privileges and immunhities that a free person of color may or an enjoy in conformity with the Laws and Constitution of the State of Delaware, In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand & seal this 20th day of May A.D. 1837.
