State of Delaware Sussex County Sst Know all men by these presents that I Ester Williams of North West Fork hundred and County and State afsd being now the owner and having the entire and Exclusive right and property of a negro Woman called Ester aged thirty four years or thereabouts do for certain good reasons me thereunto moving but more Especially for the sum of Twelve Pounds already paid by the said Negro Esther, do manumit liberate and fully set free the said Negro Ester to be hereafter known by the name of Easter Williams and I do hereby discharge declare that from and after the day of the date of hereof he shall be fully discharged from all and every claim or Claims of future Service by or from me or my heirs Exr. Or Adm. or Assigns or any other person or persons Claiming under me &c In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seal this the second day of January Eighteen hundred and Eight 1808.
