Manumission Mullatto Girl Nance Brinkley from Benj Brady

Know all men by these presents that I Benjamin Brady administrator of all and singular the goods and chattels rights and credits which were of William Wallace deceased late of Murderkill hundred in Kent county In the State of Delaware hath and by these presents doth manumate and set free a Mullatto Girl named Nance Brinkley when she shall arive to the age of nineteen years she being Eleven years three months and eleven days old she being left a slave for life by William Wallace deceased aforesaid. In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal the 10th day of November in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and three. Benj. Brady {seal}

Signed Sealed and delivered in presence of Cornelius Battel

State of Delaware Kent County Ss.} I hereby certify that on this fourteenth day of November in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and three personally appeared Benjamin Brady esquire before me the subscriber one of the Justices of the peace in and for said county and acknowledged the above manumission to be his act and Deed for the purposes therein mentioned.
