Negro Precillia Manumission from James Hazle & Others 1819

Know all men by these presents that I James Hazle administrator of William Hazle deceased of Kent County and State of Delaware being Convinced of the intentions of the Said William Hazle Decd. before his death to manumate and Set free a Certain Negro woman Need Preccilla I do therefore hereby manumate enfranchize and absolutely set free the above named Negro woman Precilla from the date  of these presents I do Set free and grant to the Said Negro all the priviledges of free people of Color and I do hereby warrant and defend the liberty and freedom of the aforesaid Pricillia from the lawful Claims of us our heirs executors Administrators and every other person or persons Claiming by from or under us. In Testimony whereof we have here unto Set our hands and and Seals this Eleventh day of December in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred & nineteen. State of Delaware Kent County Sst I Robert Patterson one of the Justices of the Peace in and for Kent County Certify that James Hazel, Jonathan Fox, Benjamin Hazle and George Hazle did respectively Sign Seal and acknowledge the within Manumission and desired the Same to be recorded as Such. Witness my hand the twenty third day of August Eighteen hundred and twenty Robert Patterson
