Know all men by these presents that I Anthony S. Vickers of Dagsboro Hundred in the County of Sussex and State of Delaware do here for Various considerations me thereunto moving manumit set free and emancipate from my Service the following negroes two Negro men Named Benjamin and Joseph one Negro woman named Tamer and one negro Girl named Fammy upon this express condition nevertheless that the said Benjamin Joseph and Tamar shall serve me or my assigns for the term of seven years and that the said Famny seal serve me or my assigns until she arrives at the age of Twenty eight years after which terms of servitude the said Negroes to enjoy possess all the privileges and advantages that free Negroes or mulutors are intitled to by the laws of this State witness my hand and seal this twenty sixth day of October in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and nine. Sussex County Vizt. Personally appeared before me the subscriberone of the Justices of the peace in & for the County afsd. Anthony S Vickars and acknowlidged that he signed sealed & delivered the within instrument of writing called a manumission and desired that the same be recorded witness my hand this 26th of October 1809.
