To all whome it may concern be it known that I Elizabeth Casson of Kent county in the State of Delaware for divers good Causes and Considerations me thereunto moveing as also in further consideration of six cents current money to me in hand paid have released from Slavery liberated manumitted and Set free and by these presents do hereby release from Slavery manumit and Set free my negro Girl named Louisa ann after she serves Ann Baynard or her heirs Exct or admrs thirteen years from from the day of the date of these presence which will expire on the 6th day February Eighteen hundred & forty three, I do declare to be henceforth free Manumited and discharged from all manner of Servitude or Service to me my Executors or adminisstrators forever. In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my Seal this Sixth day of February in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty. Elizabeth Casson {seal}
Signed Sealed and delivered in the presence of Ferdiand Baynard
Kent County Sst The State of Delaware} on the 6th day of February 1830 personally appeard Elizabeth Casson party to the above instrument of writing before me the subscriber one of the Justices of the peace in and for Kent County and acknowledged the Same to be her act and Deed for the purposes within mentioned and the negro within named to be henceforth Manumitted and discharged from all Services to her or to any claiming under her and to be free and manumitted according to the act of assembly in such case made and provided acknowledged before.
