Negro Nan Manumission from Samuel Warren Senior 1827

Know all men by these presence that I Samuel Warren Senr. of Kent County in the State of Delaware do manumit and enfranchise a Negro Woman by the name of Nan who is now my Slave I the aforesaid Samuel Warren Senr. do grant to her full liberty to act and transact buisness for her self the aforesaid Negro woman Nan was Bored in the year Seventeen Hundred and ninety nine – September the third. Witness whereof I have hereunto Set my hand and afixed my Seal this being in the year of our Lord eighteen hundred and twenty Seven, November the twenty Seventh. Samuel Warren Senr {seal}

Kimmey Kent County & State of Delaware Ss  Personally came before me the Subscriber being one of the Justice of the peace in and for Said County Samuel Warren and did acknowledge the above Manumission to be his act and Deed and the aforesaid Named Negro Nan to be free and at her own liberty.
