Manumission Negro Isaac from Mary Hall & David Hall 1809

Know all men by these presents that I Mary Hall (widow of William Hall Decd) of Sussex County and the State of Delaware for Divers good Causes me thereunto moving do hereby manumit and set free my negro man named Isaac from the Day of the Date hereof for him to enjoy all the benefits and Priveledges of a free negro of this State of Delaware, and the said Isaac being above the age of thirty five years therefore and by these presents I the said Mary Hall and David Hall her son are held and firmly bound unto the Trustees of the ???? For Sussex County and State of Delaware for the time being or their Successors in office in the sum of Four Hundred and fifty Dollars Lawfull money of this State Conditioned that the said Negro man named Isaac shall not become a Charge to the said County, In testimony whereof the said Mary Hall and David Hall have hereunto set their hands and  their seals this sixth day of January in the year of our Lord Eighteen Hundred and nine. Signed sealed and acknowledged in the presents of John Hall, Mary Hall Jun.

Sussex County and State of Delaware, January the 6th 1809 Be it Remembered that Mary Hall Personally appeared before me the Subscriber one of the Justices of the peace for said County and did acknowledge the within manumission to be her act and Deed for the use and purpose therein mentioned In Testamony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal.
