Know all men by these presents that I John Travers of Mispillion Hundred Kent County and State of Delaware do hereby set free and discharge Tobias Benson Negro heretofore the Slave of my father and afterward my slave from all claim and demand which I may have to him or his Service and declare that the Said Tobias shall here= after be entitled to all the privileges and immunities of a free negro he being now about twenty five years of age.
