Know all me by these presents that I Moses Mifflin of Georgetown Sussex County and State of Delaware being a free negro of the age of twenty five years and upwards for and in consideration of the sum of seventy nine dollars and eighty cents lawful money of the State aforesaid advanced and paid by James H Parker of the town County and State afsd to Roger Adams Sheriff of said County for the restitution money and costs which I was [s]entenced to pay by the judgement of the Court of General Sessions of the peace and goal [gaol?] delivery in and for the County afsd at the last april term thereof and for my prison charges and also for and in consideration of the sum of one dollar to me on hand paid by the said James H Parker the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge hat put and bound and by these presents I do put and bind myself as a servant to the said James H Parker his executors administrators and assigns for and during the term of seven years from the day of the date hereof and I the said Moses Miflin do by these presents bind myself to well and truly serve the said James H. Parker his executors admrs and assigns as a servant for the term afsd In witness whereof I the said Moses Miflin have hereunto set my hand & seal this 7th day of May A.D. eighteen hundred and fifty. Be it remembered that on this seventh day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty personally appeared before me the subscriber or Notary and Tabellion Public in & for said State Moses Mifflin named in the written Indenture and acknowledged this to be his voluntary act and deed and declared that the same might be recorded as such Witness my hand and official seal at Georgetown the day & year aforesaid.
