Manumission Negro Nelly from John Bloxsom 1815

I do hereby Manumit and set free the following negro woman named Nelly to be  free on the twenty eighth day of January one thousand eight hundred and fifteen & I do by these presents bind myself my heirs Executors Administrators not to molest or interrupt the negro Nelly from this day and forever, but that she the aforesaid Negro Nelly shall have and enjoy her liberty as any other free people or persons, Excepting her children that is if the said negro Nelly may or should have any children from or after this above date, they shall be subject to serve me my heirs or assigns as follows, that is the male children to serve while they are twenty one and the female children while they are eighteen and then to be free forever from me and  my heirs without any further manumat or discharge from me or my heirs forever given under my hand and seal this twenty eighth day of January one thousand  eight hundred and fifteen. Sussex County State of Del. Be it remembered that on the twenty eighth day of January 1815 Personally appeared before me the subscriber one of the Justices of the Peace in and for the County of Sussex John Bloxsom and subscribed the within Manumission in my presence, and acknowledged the same to be his act and Deed and desired the same to be recorded as such, and at the same time John Termont subscribed his name thereto as a witness. In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand the day & year afsd.
