Manumission Negro Charles Hall from Negro Isaac Hall 1826

Know all men by these presents that I Isaac Hall a freeman of Color of Baltmore Hundred in the County of Sussex and State of Delaware do hereby for and in consideration of Parental affection and the belief that liberty is the Birth right of man manumit set free and at liberty my son and my slave Charles Hall To have and enjoy henceforth all rights and priveledges that a free coloured man may or can enjoy according to the Lands and constitution of this the above mentioned State of Delaware And in confirmation of the above I do declare the above mentioned Charles Hall to be at this time and here after a free man In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my Hand and seal this Twenty seventh day of October A.D. one thousand eight Hundred and Twenty six 1826. State of Delaware Sussex County Ss Be it Remembered that on this Twenty Seventh day of October 1826 personally appeared before me Midthew Reach one of the  Justices of the Peace in and for the County of Sussex in the State of Delaware afsd Isaac Hall a free man of Colour, of the County afsd the grantor named in the within manumission and he the said Isaac Hall acknowledged the said manumission to be his act and Deed and desired it might be Recorded as such. In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this day and year afsd.
