Negro Sarah Sanders Manumission from Piner Mansfield 1825

Know all men by these presents that I Piner Mansfield of Duck creek hundred Kent County and State of Delaware for divers good causes and Considerations do by these presents Manumit Liberate and Set Free a certain Negro Slave Named Sarah Sanders aged Thirteen years or there about And do hereby further agree that the Said Sarah Sanders from and after she shall have arived to the age of Five & twenty years Shall be entitled to and enjoy all the rights privaleges and immunities which a Free Negro may or can have or enjoy by the laws of this State. In Testimony whereof I have here unto Set my hand & affixed my Seal this Sixth day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred & twentyfive A.D.1825. Piner Mansfield {seal}

Kent County Sst. The State of Del. I Alexander McClyment one of the Justices of the Peace in & for Said County do certify that the above & foregoing Manumition was signed & acknowledged before me the day & year about written & that the said Piner Mansfield desired it might be Recorded as Such. Witness my hand & Seal at Smyrna. Alexr. McClyment
