Know all my by these presents that I Saul Warren Senor of Kent County and State of Delaware did in April the 15th in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty four Set at liberty my negro woman namely Liz then my slave who was born the twenty fourth day of November in the year of our Lord 1792 and that I do by these presence absolutely manumit an infranchise her the Said Negro Liz and grant to her full freedom also I did in September in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and nineteen set at liberty my Negro woman namely Peg then my slave who was born the Eighth day of April in the year of our Lord 1791 and that I do by these presence absolutely manumit and infranchise her the said Negro Peg and grant to her full freedom, Witness my hand and Seal this the fifth day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty four. Kent county State of Delaware I do hereby certify that Samuel Warren Sr Personally appeared before me the subscriber one of the Justices of the Peace in & for Said county and did legally Execute & acknowledge the within Indenture to be his car and deed for the uses & purposes therein Mentioned and desired it might be recorded as Such in the presence of the witnesses whose names are there= unto subscribed.
