To all whom it may concern be it known that I Peter T Causey of the village of Milford in Kent County state of Delaware for Divers good Causes and Considerations me there unto moveing, as also in further Consideration of ten Cents current money to me in hand paid, I do hereby release from slavery liberate manumit and set free my Negro boy named Jacob after he shall arive at the  full age of twenty five years he now being seventeen years eleven months and twenty Days old, also manumit and set free my Negro  boy Robert after he shall arive at the age of twenty five years he now being twelve years of age the first day of January one thousand eight hundred and twenty four, also my Negro boy John I manumit and set free after he shall arive at the age of twenty five years he now being ten years of age the first day January one thousand eight hundred and twenty four, I do hereby declare my said Negroes namely Jacob Robert & John to be free and discharged from all maner of servitude or service to me my executors or administrators for ever from and after they shall severally arrive at the age of twenty five years as afore said. Kent County State of Delaware Be it remembered that on this twentieth day of November 1823 personallally appeared before the subscriber one of the Justices of the peace of said county Peter T. Causey a party in the above instrument of writing and acknowledge the same to be his act and Deed for the purpose therein mentioned and requested it might be recorded as such. In witness where of I have here unto set my hand and this day of above date. S. Williams, J.P.
