This Indenture made this fourteenth day of February in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty by and between Mary McNatt widow of Major McNatt late of Kent County State of Delaware of the one part, and Harriot McNatt daughter of said Mary McNatt of the other part, Witnesseth that that  the said Mary McNatt as well for and in Consideration of the natural love and affection which she the said Mary McNatt hath and bearers unto the said Harriot as also for the better mantanance and support of her the said Harrit McNatt; hath given and granted and confirmed, and by these presents give grant and confirm unto the said Harriet McNatt her heirs and assigns the following property that is to say, one negro woman Annaca aged about twenty nine years a negro girl named Mary about Sixteen years also four beds and furniture three tables and cup board furniture; all of which property is now in the property of the said Mary McNatt who doth hereby relinquish all her right title claim interest and property whatsoever of her the Said Mary McNatt to her said Daughter Harriot McNatt to have and to Hold the Said before described property who may lawfully and peaceably at any time take possession of said property occupy and enjoy it and the said Mary McNatt doth warrant and defend the Same from all former and other gifts grants bargains or sales whatsoever had done or suffered or to be had made done or suffered by her the Said Harriot McNatt her heirs or assigns or any other person or persons lawfully claiming or to claim by from or under her them or any of them.
