Negro Arramintta & others Manumission from Ralf Colescott 1819

Know all men by these presents that I Ralf Colescott of Mispillion hundred Kent County and State of Delaware for divers good causes and Considerations do by these presents liberate and set free the following black people to wit Arramintta aged between twenty  and twenty five years and her three children Mary aged about six years Samuel aged about two years and an infant aged from six month to one year old, are and shall be entitled to and enjoy all the rights priveledges and amunites which a free negro or molatto may or can have or enjoy by the laws of this State from the date of these presents, In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my Seal the 27th day of September A.D. 1819. State of Delaware Kent County Sst I do certify that the above manumition was acknowledged before me John Lowber one of the Justices of the peace for Said County the day and year aforesaid. Given under my hand and seal at Dover the 27th day of September A.D. 1819. John Lowber
