To all persons to whom these presents shall come. Know ye that I George Cummins of Duck Creek Hundred in the County of Kent and State of Delaware Have Manumitted and freed and do these presents, Manumit and free the following named Negros at the several times and ages herein after mentioned (to wit) Daniel Sanders Negro aged about Twenty five on the first day of April which will be in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and nineteen Harriot Miller a Negro girl aged about Twenty on the first day of April which will be in the year of our Lord one thousand eight Hundred and nineteen Tilla a Negro girl aged about Eighteen on the first day of October which will be in the year of our Lord one thousand eight Hundred and Twenty four Sampson Russell a Negro boy about seven years old on the first day December in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty Seven. In Testimony whereof I the said George Cummins hath hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal the first day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand eight Hundred and fourteen 1814. State of Delaware Kent County Sst. I do hereby certify that on the Seventh day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fourteen Personally appeared before me the Subscriber one of the Justices of the peace in and for Said county George Cummins and acknowledged the within Manumition to be his act and Deed for the uses and purposes therein mentioned, before, James Sorden
