Negro Jonathan Manumission from Isaac Davis 1816

Know all men by these presents that I Isaac Davis of Duckneck hundred in the County of Kent & State of Delaware do hereby Manumate infranchise and set free from and after the term of Ten years from the date here of one negro slave now about Twenty years of age named Jonathan Roads, alias Jonathan Rees and I do hereby declare that after the term aforesaid the said Negro Jonathan shall be entitled to all the rights priveledges and Im? of a free man Witness my hand this twenty seventh day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred and sixteen. State of Delaware Kent County I do certify that Isaac Davis Esquire Personally appeared before me the subscriber one of the Justices of the peace in and for the said county and acknowledged the above Manumission of  Jonathan Roads N. Alias Jonathan Rees to be his act & deed agreeable to the true intent and meaning thereof in due form of law. In Testimony whereof I have Hereunto set my hand & seal this 27th March 1816. J.
