Know all men by these presents that I Mark Greer of the village of Milford Kent County & State of Delaware; for Divers good Causes & Considerations me hereunto Moving do hereby manumit enfranchise & absolutely set free my negro Girl Hariott to be free & at her perfect Liberty on the twenty  ninth day of July eighteen hundred & Twenty three at which time she will be Twenty years of age, And I do hereby warrant & defend the Liberty and freedom of the Said Negro Girl Harriott from myself my heirs executors or administrators & from all persons Lawfully Claiming by from or under me, In Testimony whereof I have hereunto Set my hand & affixed my Seal this thirteenth day of June A domini 1817.
