In the name of God Amen the twenty seventh day of April in the year of our Lord 1788 I George Wilson in the County of Kent being Weak in body but of perfect mind and memory thanks be given unto God therefore calling unto mind the mortality of my body and knowing that it is appointed for all Men once to die do make and Ordain this my last Will and testament that is to Say principally and first of all I give and Recomend my Soul into the hands of God that gave it and for my I Recommend it to the earth to be buried in a Christian like and decent manner at the discretion of my Executors hoping at the general Resurrection I shall receive the Same again by the by the mighty power of God and as touching Such Worldly Estate Where with it hath pleased God to bless me with in this life I give devise and dispose of the Same in the following manner and form. It is my Will and desire that first of all that my Just debts and funeral Charges be paid and Satisfied Imprimis
I give and bequeath to My two Sons George and Philip Wilson all my lands to be equally divided betwixt them to them there Heirs and Assigns
It is my Will and I do order that all my personal Estat Be Sold and the money arising therefrom to be equally divide betwixt my three daughters Patience, Ann & peggy Wilson to them and there heirs to be paid to them when they arrive to lawfull age to receive the Same.
Item I give and bequeath unto my beloved friend Henry Newel whom I likewise Constitute make and Ordain my only and Sole Executor of this my last Will and testament four negroes one named Moses and one named Charls a Negro Woman named Nance and a boy named Peter
And it is my Will that as soon as all younger negroes arive to Lawful age that they are all Set free to them Selves by my Executor and I do hereby utter disallow revoke and disannul all and Every other former testaments wills and legacies and Executor by me in any ways before this time named Willed and bequeathed Ratifying and Confirming this and no other to be my last Will and testament in Where of I have hereunto Set my hand Seal the day and year above Written George Wilson {seal}

Personally appeared before me Francis Many Esqr Register for the probate of Wills and Granting Letters of Administration in and for the County of Kent Thomas Skidmore and David Boggs two of the Subscribing Witnesses to the Within Instrument of Writing and being Solemnly Sworn on the holy Evangelists of Almighty God, do say that they Saw George Wilson Sign Seal and heard him publish pronounce and declare the Within Instrument of Writing as and for his last Will & Testament that at the Same time of his so doing and saying he was to the best of their belief of Sound disposing mind and memory that they and each of them at his Instance and Request and in his presence Signed and saw each other Sign their names as Witnesses thereto and at the Same time at the like Instance and request and in his presence also saw Robert Hall (by way of making his Mark) Sign his name as one Other Witness to the Same In Testimony Whereof I have hereunto Set my hand at Dover the 6th day of November Anno Domini 1788. Be it Remembered that on the Sixth day of November Anno Domini Seventeen hundred and Eighty Eight the Last Will and Testament of George Wilson deceased was proved and approved in due form and Letters Testamentary at the same time Granted to Henry Newell who being Sworn gave bond in the Sum of One thousand Pounds with Philip Barrett for the faithfull performance thereof agreable to Law.
