A Memorial to be registered of an Indenture tripartite made Sixth day of October one thousand eight hundred and fifty four in pursuance of an act to facilitate the conveyance of real property. Between Dennis Hill of the township of Camden in the County of Kent and Province of Canada Yeoman, of the part, Isabella Hill of the same place wife of the said party of the first part of the second part, and Absalom W Shadd of the township of Raleigh in the County and Province aforesaid Yeoman Whereby the said party of the first part in consideration of nine hundred pounds of lawful money of Canada then paid by the said party of the third part, to the said party of the first part the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged did grant unto the said party of the third part his heirs and assigns forever, All and Singular those Certain parcels or tracts of land situated lying and being in the township of Camden and chatham in the County of Kent in the Province of Canada, containing by admeasurement, one hundred and ninety acres be the same more or less being parts of lots number one in the sixth and seventh concessions of the township of Camden aforesaid and of parts of lots number twenty three and twenty four in the eighth concession of the township of Chatham aforesaid and may be otherwise known and described as follows, namely, as all that portion of of said lots number one in the sixth and seventy concession of Camden aforesaid lying westerly of the now travelled public Highway leading across said lots number one also commencing upon the town line between chatham and Camden aforesaid at the distance of twenty seven chains and sixty links north westerly from the south Eastern angle of said lot number twenty four, thence north forty five degrees west to the rear of said lot number twenty four, thence south forty five degrees, west tot he center of said lot number twenty three thence south forty five degrees east to within twenty seven chains and sixty links of the concession line in front of said lots thence North forty five degrees east to the place of beginning
To Have and To Hold the said above granted premises unto the said part of the third part his heirs and assigns to and for his and their sole and only use forever. and by the same Indenture it is witnessed that the said party of the second part wife of the said party of the first part, thereby Baned her Dower in the said Lands which said Indenture is witnessed by George M Webster of the village of Dresden in the said County of Kent Merchant, and Jeremiah S Turner of the Gore of Camden in the said county Farmer and the memorial thereof is hereby required to be registered by me the said grantee therein named.
