Certificate Comfort Collins to Negro Hannah 1821

To all whom these presents may concern, be it known that on the twentieth day of January Eighteen hundred and sixteen I Comfort Collins made in writing my last will and Testament in which will I left my negro Woman named Hannah to be free at my death and my negro Girl named Sarah I left to her Mother Hannah until she is twenty one years old if Hannah ^lives so long and if Hannah should die before Sarah is twenty one years old . I leave her to be provided for by the Trustees of the Poor until she is twenty one years old and then to be free forever. In Confirmation of this being my will and true intention and meaning of this my Act I have hereunto set my hand and seal this twenty ninth day of January eighteen hundred and twenty one. Comfort Collins her mark {seal}
