Manumission Julian Boulden (n) from Henry T. Hoffecker 1850

Know all men by these presents that I Henry T. Hoffecker of Duck Creek hundred Kent County & State of Delaware have manumitted enfranchised & set free & hereby do manumit enfranchise and free my negro slave named July Ann Boulden to be free son and from this first day of November in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred & fifty she the said July Ann being now the age of twenty five years old or thereabouts. I hereby release all claim to the serviceship and service of the said July Ann It being my true intent & meaning that upon from & after this day July Ann shall be free & entitled to all the privileges & immunities to which free negroes & mulattoes in the State of Delaware are entitled Witness my hand & seal this first day of November A.D. 1850. State of Delaware State of Delaware Be it remembered that on the first day of November in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred & fifty before the subscriber one of the Justices of the Peace in and Kent County aforesaid personally appeared Henry T.
