An Act for the Relief of James Charles and Susanna America Children of
Moses America,
Section 1 Be it remembered by the Senate and House of Representatives of the state of Delaware in General Assembly met, That it shall and may be Lawful for certain children of Moses America, namely James, Charles and Susanna America, free negroes now Residing out of this state to come into and reside in the state of Delaware with all the privileges rights and immunities now possessed and enjoyed by resident free negroes and mulattoes in this state and law custom or usage to the contrary thereof notwithstanding. State of Delaware ss, Secretary’s office I do hereby certify the the above and foregoing is a true and correct copy of an act entitled “an act for the relief of James, Charles and Susanna America children of Moses America” passed at a session of the General assembly of the state of Delaware held at Dover January 28th A D 1853 In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal of office this twenty-sixth day of February A.D. 1853 Alf P.
