Deed James Cook Coalured man from Catharine Young

This Indenture made this thirtyeth day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty two, Between Catharine young one of the Daughters of James Robinson decd. of Duck creek neck in Kent County and State of Delaware of the one part and James Cook a Free man of Couler of the hundred aforesaid and County aforesaid of the other part Witnesseth That the Said Catherine young for and in Consideration of the Just and full ^ sum of one Hundred Dollars Lawfull money of the said State of Delaware to her in hand paid or well Secured to be paid at or before the Sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof she the said Catharine young doth hereby acknowledge and herself therewith fully satisfied contented and paid hath granted bargained sold released aliened enfeoffed conveyed and confirmed and by these presents doth give grant bargain and sell release alien enfeoff convey and confirm to him the Said James Cook his heirs and assigns forever all the following described piece or parcel of wood Land situate in Duck creek neck aforesaid it being a part of the real Estate late of James Robinson Decd. and a part of that part thereof which was allotted to the Said Catharine young in pursuance of an order of the orphans court and marked on the Draught of division with  the Letter L. Which part thereof now about being conveyed is contained within the following meetes and bounds to wit Beginning at a stone near two small sweet gum saplings at a corner of a piece or parcel of wood Land which was allotted to James Robinson and extending from thence along the line thereof through the woods by a line of marked trees dividing this from the said James Robinsons wood Land North thirteen degrees west sixty five perches and three tenths parts of a perch to a Stone corner of the Said James Robinsons wood and cleared Land thence along the cleared Land lines thereof South eighty six degrees and one quarter of a degree East Eleven perches to a Stake Standing west four feet from a Small black oak sapling on high ground North fourteen degrees East Eleven perches to a Stone corner for the Said James Robinson and of that part of the aforesaid allotment which the Said Catharine young reserves for her own use thence through the woods by a new made line dividing this from the Said residue the Said Catharine young reserves as aforesaid South twenty nine degrees and thirty minutes East Sixty Six perches and three tenths parts of a perch to a Stake Said to be in the line of the tract Called new Berry thence along the line thereof South Eighty degrees and one quarter of a degree west one perch to a Small Stone Said to be one of the corners of the aforesaid tract new Berry and is near a small Black oak marked with three notches pointing towards the stone thence along the line of one other Small parcel of wood Land alloted to the Said James Robinson south sixty two degrees and three quarters of a degree west thirty four perches and two tenths parts of a perch to the place of Beginning Containing and laid out for Ten Acres of  Land be the same more or less together with all and singual the woods underwood timber and trees ways waters and water courses rights privileges hereditaments and every the appurtenances to the same belonging or in any wise appertaining with the reversion and reversions remainder and remainders yearly and other issues and Services thereof as also the use benefit and behoof of the Said James Cook to him his heirs and assigns forever of in and to a road and outlet intersecting with the land dividing between James Robinson and John Robinson To have and To Hold the Said above described piece or parcel of wood Land with the privelege and benefit of residing and peaceably enjoying the Same and every part and parcel thereof to him the Said James Cook and his heirs and assigns forever and to and for no other use intent or purpose whatsoever And the Said Catharine young the Lands and premises aforesaid against herself and her heirs and against all and every person or persons whatsoever now claiming or hereafter Lawfull, claiming the Same or any part there of Shall and will warrant and forever defend by these presents. State of Delaware Kent County Sst.  Be it Remembered that on the thirtieth day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty two Before me Isaac Davis one of the Judges of the Supreme Court for the Said State of Delaware Personally appeared Catharine young in the Within Indenture named and acknowledge the Said Indenture to be her act and Deed. In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand & Seal the day and year last aforesaid. Isaac Davis.
