Know all Men by these presents that I Jonathan Manlove of Kent County on Delaware yeo..n for and in Consideration of the sum of Three hundred pounds to me in hand paid at and before the sealing and Delivery of these presents by Matthew Manlove of the same place yeo..n the receipt whereof I do hereby acknowledge Have bargained and sold and by these presents do Bargain and Sell unto the said Matthew Manlove one negro Boy Named Pompey another named George & one named Doller with three yoke of oxen and Twenty Cows & Calves & sixty head of dry Cattle young and old one negro wench Poll one Negro man named frank one Negro Girl named Jude another named Grace one named Nan and another named Moll one Negro Lad named George Two featherbeds and furniture one Desk and Two Tables and one Chest 3 Mares and Colts and seven head of Horses forty head of Sheep and Twenty head of Hogs with all my Household furniture and all my farming Utensials now remaining and being in my possession to have and to hold all and Singular Above mentioned Negroes Creatures household furniture and Utensials and every of them by these presents Bargained and sold unto the said Matthew Manlove his Executors Admrs and assigns forever and I the said Jonathan Manlove for myself my my Exec..rs and Admrs all and Singular the said goods and household stuff unto the said Matthew Manlove his Executors Admrs and assigns against me the said Jonathan Manlove my Exe..rs Admrs and assigns and against all and every other person or persons whatsoever shall and will Warrant and forever Defend by these presents of which goods I the said Jonathan Manlove have put the said Matthew Manlove in full possession by Dilivering him the abovesaid Negro boy named Pompey at the sealing hereof as Witness my Hand and seal this first day of August in the year of our Lord one Thousand Seven Hundred and Seventy one, 1771.
