The Last Will and Testament of Daniel B. Anderson.
In the name of God Amen
I Daniel B. Anderson, being of sound mind and memory, blessed be Almighty God for the same, do make and publish this my last Will andTestament in manner and form following To wit
First I desire that all my lawful debts be paid and that my Property be discharged of all incumbrances from Loan Associations & otherwise by my Executrix hereinafter named
Secondly, I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Isabella Jane Anderson all my right titles and interest in my Estates real personal & mixed during her natural life. I desire also that my son Alonzo George Benedict Anderson remain with his mother to assist her in the management of her effects, and that James A. Anderson my eldest Son render her all necessary assistance in executing this my last will and Testament.
Thirdly, After my Property has cleared of all incumbrances, and as soon after as the circumstances of the case will permit, by the accumulation of funds arising from the ^above by rent or otherwise I give and bequeath to Daniel B. Anderson Fifty dollars, Mandeville J. Anderson, Fifty Dollars, Elouise Anderson fifty dollars, William S. Anderson, fifty Dollars, Thomas S. Anderson Twenty dollars, an Annuity to my brother Robert of twelve dollars, to my sister Rebecca of twenty Dollars Should any of the above legatees die without Issue before my beloved wife the amount devised to such legatee will revert to my two sons in the proportion hereinafter named, the Annuities to my brother and sister are during their natural life they are not to be paid however till after the death of my wife unless in the judgement of my wife the necessities of my brother Robert and Sister Rebecca requires it and the circumstances of my beloved wife warrant their payment of which she shall use her own discretion My Estates shall be chargeable for the bequests and Annuities herein named in the man- ner and form Stated subject to all the condi-tions and to no other conditions whatever
All the residue of my Estates real and personal after paying the above bequests and annuities as herein provided I give to my Sons James A. Anderson, and his Children and A.G.B. Anderson one third to Jas. A. Anderson and his Children and two thirds to A.G.B. Anderson his heirs and assigns And I hereby appoint my beloved wife Sole Executrix of this my last Will and testament hereby revoking all other wills by me made.
For So much of this my last will and testament as shall remain unexecuted at the death of my beloved wife Isabella Jane Anderson I appoint my sons Jas. A. Anderson and A.G.B. Anderson Executors
In testimony whereof I hereunto set my hand and Seal this twenty fourth day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and seventy four Daniel B. Anderson {seal}
The above instrument consisting of two half sheets of paper was now here subscribed by Daniel B. Anderson the testator in the presence of each of us and was at the same ^time declared by him to be his last will and testament and we at his request sign our names hereto as attesting witnesses John R. Tatum, Ashton R. Tatum
