Know all men by these presents that I Elizabeth Greer of Kent County and State of Delaware for and in Consideration of the sum of thirty Six pounds of good and Lawful money of the Delaware State to me in hand paid by Daniel Reynolds of the County and State aforesaid at or before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof I the said Elizabeth Greer do acknowledge Have Granted bargained Sold and by these presents do Grant bargain and Sell unto the said Daniel Reynolds his Executors Administrators and assigns one negro Woman called Caty above bargained and sold or mentioned or Intended so to be to the said Daniel Reynolds his Executors Administrators forever. and I the said Elizabeth Greer for myself my Heirs Executors administrators the aforesaid negro woman unto the said Daniel Reynolds his Executors Administrators and assigns against me the said Elizabeth Greer my Executors and admrs. and against all and every other person or persons whatsoever Shall and will warrant and forever defend by these presents as Witness whereof I have Set my hand this first day of August.
