Kent County Delaware State: To all whom it may concern know ye That I Caleb Boyer of the State and County aforesaid do this day Manumit and liberate to all intents and purposes the following named Negroes Viz. David, Aged about Thirty years, Nero about Thirty three, Abraham Twenty four, Rachel Thirty four, Daphne Aged forty two, Eleanor twenty three to act & do for themselves from this day forward. Also Thomas aged nineteen years  Adam aged fifteen, Anthony aged Seven, Peter four, Minty fifteen, Ladicia, three, Mary, one, And an Infant the Child of Rachel; All and every of them at the Age of twenty one Years, In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand & Seal this third day of December Seventeen hundred and Eighty Seven.
