State of Delaware __ To all whom these presents shal come Greeting I Joseph Harper of Kent County for divers good causes and consideration me thereunto moving do hereby declare free and manumit and infranchise the Negroes following To Wit one Negro Woman by the name of Ruth to be free the first day of May in the year of our Lord 1795. one negro Girl by the name of Cate to be free the 18th day of May in the year of our Lord 1810__ Hereby acknowledging the said negroes discharged at the times afsd from all clame of service or right of property whatever from me my heirs Executors or administrators as Witness my hand & Seal this 5th day of June 1793.
