State of Delaware Kent County Sst To all to whom these presents shall come Greeting I, William Scarborough of accomack County in the State of Virginia for divers good Causes and Considerations me thereunto moving do hereby Declare Free Manumit and enfranchise the Negro following to wit Caleb Hereby acknowledgeing the said Negro Discharged from all Claim of Service & Right of property whatever from me my Heirs Executors or administrators, as Witness my Hand & Seal this third day of June in the year of our Lord One Thousand Seven hundred and ninety seven. the name Caleb interlined before sealing.
