Know all men by these Presents that I Negroe Isaac, commonly called Miller Isaac, and is now a free man of Mispillion Hundred in Kent County and State of Delaware, do by these make ordain constitute and appoint my Trusty Friend James Johnson, the elder of the afsd. County and State, to be my true and lawful attorney for me in my name and to my use to ask demand Recover or receive of and from Thomas Bowman late of the afsd. County and State, but now of the State of Pennsylvania the Sum of Thirty five pounds principle together with lawful interest thereon from the time the same was due untill the whole be paid, giving and granting by these presents to my said Attorney my Sole and full Power, and authority to take pursue and follow such legal courses for the recovery receiving and obtaining of the same, as I my self might, or could do were I personally present, and upon the receipt of the same acquittances and other sufficient discharges for me and in my name to make sign seal and deliver as also one or more attorney or attorneys under him to substitute or appoint and again at his pleasure to revoke, and further to do perform and execute for me, and in my name all and singular the thing or things which shall or may be necessary touching and concerning the premises as fully and intirely as I the said Negroe Isaac in my own person ought or could do _ in and about the same hereby ratifying allowing and confirming whatsoever my said attorney shall lawfully do or cause to be done in and about the execution of the premises by virtue of those presents.
