Manumission Samuel Harrison alias Syngo from Samuel Covinton 1802

I Samuel Covinton of the County of Kent in the State of Delaware being, now possessed of a Black Man, by purchase, by the name of Sam’l Harrison (alias) Syngo) and being disposed to liberate the said Sam’l Harrison from me my heirs Executors Administrators and every of them This Writing Witnesseth that I have on this Seventh day of the fifth month Eighteen hundred and Two, Manumitted and set absolutely free the said Sam’l that he may hereafter be taken & deemed a free man to all intents and purposes, from me my heirs Exs Adms and every of them, Witness my hand & seal the day and year above written.
