Know all men by these presents that I John Graham of the county of Kent and State of Delaware for divers good causes and considerations me thereunto moving do hearby enfranchise and set free my negro boy named Perray he being nine years of age and he the said negro to be free and at his own liberty at the expiration of sixteen years from and after the date hearof and further I do hearby warrant and forever defend the freedom of him the affsd. negro agreable to the true meaning of these presents from the lawfull claim of every pursen or persons whotsoever clayming or to claim him the affsd. negro Perray by from or under me my heirs executors administrators and every of them as witness my hand and Seal the thurd day of feburay 1804.
