Manumission Lidia from John Johnson 1799

I John Johnson of Kent County & State of Delaware do Manumet, and Set at perfect Liberty my Negro Girl Lidia after serving William Burgess, his Heirs and assigns Nine years from June in the year of our Lord one thousand Seven hundred, and Ninety Seven at which time she will be about Thirty years of age, I do hereby for my self, my Heirs executors Administrators and Assigns set free from Bondage the said Lidia declaring her absolutely free from me or any person Claiming under me ^after serving the above mentioned nine years, In Witness whereof I have hereunto Set my Hand & Seal, this twenty seventh day of August, One thousand Seven Hundred & Ninety Nine 1799.
