Manumission Jonathan White and Anthony White from John Lewis 1803

Know all men by these presents that John Lewis of Murderkill hundred Kent County and State of Delaware, do hereby manumitt, liberate and and set free my two negro men vizt. Jonathan White who has been at his liberty two years, I do hereby declare free from me my heirs, executors, administrators or assigns forever, Anthony White who was twenty years old some time last November I do hereby declare free from me my heirs, executors, administrators and assigns when he shall arive to the age of twenty five years; reserving his service to me my heirs, executors, administrators or assigns untill he arrives to the aforesaid age of twenty five years. And I do hereby warrant and defend the freedom of the aforesaid negroes Jonathan and Anthony, (that is to say Jonathan to be free immediately and Anthony when he arrives at the age of twenty five years) from every person or persons lawfully claiming or hereafter to claim, by from or under me my heirs, Executors, administrators or assigns, In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seal this ninth day of december Anno Domini 1803.
