Manumission Alexander by John Graham 1804

Know all men by these presents that I John Graham of the county of Kent and State of Delaware for divers good causes and considrations me thereunto moving do hearby enfranchise and set free my negro boy named Alxander he being six years of age and he the said negro to be free and at his own liberty at the expiration of nineteen years from and after the date hereof and further I do hearby warrant an forever defend the freedom of him the afforsd. negro agreeable to the new meaning of these presents from the lawfull clam of every person or persons whatsoever claiming or to claim him the affsd.
