Manumission William Tim from Ebenezer Blackiston
Know all men by these presents that I Ebenezer Blackiston of Duck Creek hundred Kent County & State of Delaware, Have and by these presents do hereby manumit, and set free my slave mulatto boy called William Tim, retaining nevertheless to my self my heirs, Executors Administrators of Assigns the work and services of my said mulatto slave William Tim for and during the full space or term of Nineteen Years and nine months from the date hereof, fully to be complete and ended, In Witness whereof I have hereto set my hand and seal the second day of September in the year of our Lord, one thousand eight hundred and six. 1806. State of Delaware Kent County Sst. } I do hereby certify that on the Eighth day of December 1806 came Ebenezer Blackiston before me the subscriber one of the Justices of the peace and acknowledged the above manumition in due form. Given under my hand and seal the day and Year aforesaid. John Lowber.
A True copy recorded, examined and compared with the Original this 13th day of December 1806. Attest William P. Russel Recr.
