Manumission Philis & Roda from James Sykes

Kent County August 29th 1814. To all to whom these presents shall come know ye that I James Sykes Phisician of the Town of Dover and County of Kent & State of Delaware for various reasons me there unto moving have this day manumitted & forever Set free my Negro Woman Philis and my negro woman Roda and do forever quit claim to the said Philip and Roda In Testimony whereof I have hereunto Set my hand and affixed my Seal the day and year above written.
