To all to whom these presents shall Come, Know ye that I the Subscriber and Inhabitant and Residenter of Kent County and State of Delaware Being at present the Sole owner and possessor of the following described Negro Slaves, which I do hereby manumit and Set free from me my heirs Executors administrators or assigns at the following periods, that is to Say Negro John Hill to go free on the twenty fourth day of August Eighteen hundred and ten, Negro Phillis Hill to go free on the Seventh day of January Eighteen hundred and Nine Negro Jacob Hill to Go free on the Seventh day of January Eighteen hundred and Thirteen as Witness my hand and Seal this twenty Eighth day of November one Thousand Eight hundred and four 1804.
