Know all men by these presents that I Major Selby for divers good Causes & Considerations me hereunto moving doth hereby manumit Emancipate liberate and set free and by these presents hath manumitted liberated Emancipated and set free a Certain Negro slave named Jacob the property of me the said Major Selby at the expiration of Ten years from the date of these presents, hereby reserving to myself my Heirs Executors administrators & assigns the service and labour of the said Negroe Jacob for and during the term of ten years next ensuing at the expiration of which said Term I hereby declare the said Negro Jacob a free man to all intents and purposes.
