Manumission Jacob, Antony, Sarah, Soloman and Daniel from Samuel Combe 1801

Whereas I Samuel Combe of Kent County and State of Delaware do think it wrong and oppressive to hold Negroes in Monday, do therefore Manumit and set free the following Negroes Viz: Jacob about Eighteen years old, Antony about twelve years old, Sarah and her two Children Solloman and Daniel, the aforesaid Jacob to be free and at his Liberty the first day of January which shall be in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and nine Antony to be free and at his Liberty the first day of January which shall be in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifteen, Sarah to be free and at her Liberty the first day of January, which shall bee in the year of our Lord one thousand eight Hundred and seven, Soloman to bee free and at his Liberty the first day of January which Shall bee in the year of our Lord one thousand eight Hundred and Twenty five, Daniel to bee free and at his Liberty the first day of January which shall be in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty Seven, And I the said Samuel Combe do hereby warrant and defend the freedom of the afsd. Negroes against me my Heirs Executors or Administrators and from all other persons Laying any Right or Claim thereto by from or under me as Witness My hand and seal this Nineteenth day of July one thousand eighty hundred and one 1801.
