Manumission Hannah White from George Manlove and James Stewart 1802

We George Manlove and James Stewart, Do hereby manumit liberate set free and forever discharge our negro woman named Hannah White, so that from this day forward she may enjoy all the rights and priviledges of a free woman, according to the laws of this state in such case made and provided and that she may at all times forever hereafter, sue and be sued, recover and be recovered from, all debts or sums of money which may hereafter become due to or from the said Hannah White, In witness whereof we have hereto set our hands and seals this twenty eighth day of december anno Domini one thousand eight hundred and two.
