Manumission Hannah from Robert Cook 1802

Know all men by these presents that I Robert Cook of Kent County and State of Delaware physician, do by these presents manumit and forever set free a negro woman named Hanah (whom I bought of Isaac Davis admr. Of Edward Rees dec’d) after she has served me, my heirs exectrs. or assigns for the term or time of five years commencing from the seventh day of novr. an. dom: one thousand eight hundred and one and ending the seventh novr. one thousand eight hundred & sex and that after the expiration of the afsd. term or time, she shall be deemed a free woman without any let or claim from myself and every person claiming by from or under me as witness my hand & seal this eighteenth day of November an dom one Thousand ^eight hundred & two. 1802 Robt Cook {seal}
