Manumission of sundry Negroes from John Cummins

Know all men by these presents that I John Cummings of smyrna Kent County of Delaware Merchant, for divers good causes and considerations me thereto moveing: have manumitted enfranchised and set free, and by these presents do manumit enfranchise and set free the following named Negrows slaves when and as soon as they arive at the age of thirty five years, that is to say Hannah aged seventeen years, charlot aged eleven years, Jonathan aged nine years, and Richard aged five years, the three Latter Children of negro Sarah_ Samuel aged eleven years,  Alexander aged eight years, Ezekiel aged five years & Joseph aged two years all Children of Lydia Dixon – Edward aged eight years, Henry Aged five years & Philep aged three years all children of negro Amey – Maria aged eight years & Abraham aged four years children of negro Dina,  reserveing to my self my Executors administrators or assigns, the services of the said regrows respectively until they severally attain the said ages of thirty five years and when and as soon as they shall severally arive at the said age, they are hereby declaired to be Free exonerated and for ever discharged from the service of myself my heirs Executors adms and assigns In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal in the presence of two creditable witnesses this fifth day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and Ten 1810. Maryland Queen Anns County to wit On the 5th day of April in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred & ten came John Cummins mentioned in the within manumission before me the subscriber a Justice of the pease for Queen Anns County also and acknowledged the same to be his act and deed according to the purpose here in tent and meaning thereof and of the acts of assembly in such case made and provided. _ Acknowledged before and Certified by Jas.
