This may Certify whom it may concern that I Robert Cook of Kent County and State of Delaware physician, do hereby manumit and set free a negro girl named Eliza (whom I bought of Isaac Davis adm. Of Edwd Rees dec’d.) when she arrives to the age of twenty one years her time or term commencing from the 27th nov an. Dom. eighteen hundred & one (she being then two years old) and ending the 27th nov an. Dom. eighteen hundred & twenty and that after the expiration of the afsd. Term or time, she shall be deemed a free woman, without any let or claim from myself, and every other person claiming by, from or under me as witness my hand and seal this eighteenth day of nov. ann. dom: one thousand eight hundred & two.
